Local N30 Co-ordinating meetings for 30 November

Join the N30 day of resistance

November 30 will see the biggest day of strike action in Britain since 1926. But the public sector general strike is not simply about attacks on pensions – it is a day of working class resistance to austerity and this Tory-led Government.

For all those who think we shouldn’t pay for a crisis we didn’t create, for those who want to defend our NHS, our Schools and our Universities, for those who think that benefits should be about maintaining people’s dignity, for those who are sick of the of the pay cuts and job losses, then the November 30 strike is the crucial date for resistance.

For November 30 to be effective, it needs to involve much wider layers of people – not just public sector workers, but private; not just unionised workers but all workers; not just those in workplaces but students, the unemployed and benefit claimants: all those in the 99%.

That is why we are calling a local N30 Co-ordinating committee – an open forum, for everyone who wants to oppose the government cuts, to come together to make November 30 the biggest day of resistance possible. And to make sure that it is the start of a fightback, not the end!
